Officers and Committee

The management committe comprises four officers and up to six ordinary members. The four officers are specified as the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.  At present the Chair is vacant, there having been no nominations before the AGM in January 2009 and no volunteers at the AGM.

This means that a greater burden is placed on the remaining members of the Management Committee. It also means that there is little time for managing the future development of our organisation.

The Management Committe can co-opt up to four members and would welcome anyone with an interest in getting involved, in 'shadowing' any of the current Officers, or just having a 'taste' of being on the committee and gaining experience. We would ask any members not to be shy in coming forward - it can be rewarding, and you could leave at any time if you did not enjoy it. Please contact any committee member for further information.

Group Co-ordinators are not automatically on the Committee, but may attend meetings and could be co-opted.
