COMPUTER AVAILABLE!


The Warwick District U3A Annual General Meeting was held 

on 13 February 2008,  with over 160 members attending.

 Although there were no nominations for Chair or Vice Chair, there are three new Management committee members - Kate Smallman, Tony Eastaugh and Phil Larvor. 

Existing members Phyllis Puddifoot and Ron Goodey volunteered to take on the roles of Chair and Vice-Chair respectively, in addition to their current responsibilities, but for one year at most. 



OPEN GARDEN
National Gardens Scheme

On two occsions last year Judy and David Hirst opened their garden in Leamington Spa as part of the National Gardens Scheme. The £2 admission fee they charged went towards the £53,000 raised for charity in Warwickshire. This year they were open on 6th April, and will be open again on
22nd June 2008 from 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

INTERESTED IN COMPUTING?

Computer Club for those who want to improve their skills.
WDU3A can access good low cost computing facilities at one of the local Community Centres and there are a few members prepared to help. However, someone (or two people) are needed who are prepared to manage this, ie., be a group leader or leaders.

Would one of our members like to have a computer, so that they can email friends and family, make purchases in the comfort of their own home as well as just simply surfing the Net?
